RREC recently reopened for limited services and gatherings. Pre-paid and rescheduled clients, and existing Groupon clients have first priority for booking appointments. Those on our Request List/Waiting list that contacted us while we were temporarily closed have second priority. Basic Horsemanship & Riding Lessons

At River Ranch, we strongly believe that all riders benefit from having a strong foundation with an emphasis on horsemanship. All students will learn the basics of horseback riding. Great lesson packages are offered at an affordable rate for everyone 7 years of age or older and in good health.

Lessons are structured according to each individual student. We teach the students all aspects of horsemanship from grooming, saddling, and basic care, to a good, strong foundation of horseback riding skills

Western Lesson Options

Beginner Individual Youth Western Lessons are 30 minutes in length with approximately 20 minutes of riding.
$40.00 per lesson
$152.00 for a package of 4 (Save 5%)
$288.00 for a package of 8 (Save 10%)

Beginner Individual Adult Western Lessons are 60 minutes in length with approximately 50 minutes of riding.
$60.00 per lesson.
$228.00 for a package of 4. (Save 5%)
$432.00 for a package of 8. (Save 10%)

Beginner Group Western Lessons (1 hour) ~ If you wish to create your own riding group for lessons, we can accommodate up to 3 students at one time. We do not create the riding group for you. Your group of students must all be close to or at the same beginner level. $40.00 per student (Up to 3 students for 1 hour)
