RREC recently reopened for limited horseback riding services and gatherings. Pre-paid and rescheduled clients, and existing Groupon clients have first priority for booking appointments. Those on our Request List/Waiting list that contacted us while we were temporarily closed have second priority. We ask for your patience while we determine the best way to operate safely and accommodate existing clients and new requests accordingly. This is a Covid-Conscious Facility. TRAIL RIDES

Get off the beaten path and explore the hidden beauties within the Trinity Forest by horseback! River Ranch has it all when it comes to trail ridin’ at the Texas Horse Park. Let us saddle up a horse just for you and then get ready to take an awesome ride. No experience required.

So come get away and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature from atop a horse! Enjoy our lush meadows and tree lined trails. Nothing soothes the soul like hearing the wind through the trees and the locust and birds serenading you.

We offer trail rides year round, weather permitting. Trail Rides are offered beginning at age 9 with a max weight of 240lbs. For those that are under age 9, we have lessons or pony rides as a great way to start learning how to be ready for the trail!

Trail Ride Prices

1 Hour Guided Basic Trail Ride = $55/person -Walk only on the pasture and wooded trails
1 Hour Guided Intermediate Trail Ride = $65/person -Walk & trot on intermediate trails
1 Hour Guided Advanced Trail Ride = $75/person -Walk, trot & canter on advanced trails

Trail Rides are by appointment so please call ahead.
We are located in the floodplain so be sure to call ahead to check the weather and trail conditions.
Event and party trail ride options will vary.

PONY RIDES

Looking for something for the younger kids? We also offer pony rides. Show your kid a sweet, memorable time on one of our kid safe ponies. One of our staff members will show you how to guide your child around at a gentle walk as you click away at the camera at their memorable time. (Pony Rides must be lead by someone on foot and are not able to join on the trail rides.)

Pony Ride Prices
$15 for a 10 minute pony ride.
$1 per additional minute.

Children will be assessed according to weight. Older or larger kids may be ready for a full size horse! (Pony Rides begin at age 3 with a max weight of 70-100lbs depending on the size of the pony.)
